Artist Jamie Speck – Fine Arts Exhibition at K-Space Contemporary Gallery in Corpus Christi

Jamie Speck, a Rockport artist who maintains studio and gallery space in the Cultural District, will have her Master of Fine Arts Exhibition from TAMU – CC at K-Space Contemporary Gallery in Corpus Christi from December 4th- January 22nd. The exhibit, “Hausfrau Collections: Routine, Ritual & Magic,” will highlight groupings of unremarkable domestic objects reimagined using the restorative healing power of rituals and childhood notions of fantasy. “Hausfrau Collections” is a reassessed reality where routine and ritual transform the mundane and conjure the magical. An Opening Reception will be held on First Friday, December 4th, 5:30- 9pm.
