The 3rd annual “Stroll Thru Rockport” is planned Saturday, March 27th, from 9:30am to 12:30pm. The free two mile historical walking tour is designed to combine physical activity with the opportunity to learn about Rockport’s historical buildings, events, and people. The route begins at the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center, and includes stops such as the old Rockport School, the Leopold M. Bracht House, the R. H. Wood House, the History Center for Aransas County, the Rockport Railroad Depot, the Estelle Stair building, the old St. Peter’s Church, and the Rockport Little Theatre which will have a Model T Showcase nearby. Costumed docents will provide historical site information. Healthy snack or water will be available at several locations.
