RCAD Mission and Objective

The mission and objectives of the district are to strengthen and preserve Rockport’s unique reputation as a significant artistic community and be a resource for residents and visitors.  The district’s goals are focused on continued economic development through marketing the many facets of tourism within the district.

1. Approval of May 21, 2020 Board Meeting Minutes
2. Citizens to Be Heard:

At this time, public comment will be taken from the audience for any item or subject that is not on the posted agenda. To address the Rockport Cultural Arts District (RCAD) Executive Board of Directors, please advise the RCAD Executive President, Executive Vice-President, or Executive Director in writing  of your desire to speak, prior to the start of the meeting.  Public comments are limited to three (3) minutes.  In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the RCAD Executive Board of Directors will not act or discuss any item that is not posted on the meeting agenda.  While public comment is encouraged, disturbances of any nature will not be tolerated, and the chairperson shall terminate the offending speaker’s opportunity to be heard.”
