Rockport Cultural Arts District Receives 2023-2024 Non-Profit of the Year Recognition

The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet Tuesday, June 11 at the Fulton Convention Center, during which the winners of major awards were announced and board leadership changed.    Outgoing Chairman of the Board Chad Lee passed the gavel to incoming Chairwoman Amy Garcia.    The major awards were to the following individuals/organizations:

Citizen of the Year – Kathy Nobel, Aransas County Humane Society

Chamber Member of the Year – Jennifer Park

Bay Blazer of the Year – Sadie Landrum

Emerging Leader of the Year – Summer Terrell

Small Business of the Year – Ginny Nieto and Randy Sinclair, PC Bancard

Business Builder of the Year – Jordan Pilgrim

Non-Profit of the Year – Rockport Cultural Arts District

Outgoing Chamber Chairman, Chad Lee, said each of the nominees had an incredible impact on our communities.   “This year’s award goes to an organization that has significantly contributed to the artistic vibrancy of our community.   It has demonstrated outstanding commitment to creativity, promoting cultural heritage, and enhancing the lives of our residents and visitors alike,” said Lee.   Rockport Cultural Arts District Executive Director Jennifer Day  and a host of its supporters accepted the award.
