The Rockport Little Theatre (RLT) presented its first production in its new building at 99 N. Austin Street in the Cultural Arts District Friday, September 10th with local talent in Richard Hooker’s M*A*S*H, adapted by Tim Kelly.  Performances Friday, Saturday and Sunday matinees ran through September 26th.

RLT performed in the historic Rockport Elementary School from 2003 to 2017 until Hurricane Harvey  badly damaged the building.   RLT then performed at the Rialto Theater in Aransas Pass and the La Palma Event center.   They purchased the property at 99 N Austin Street in August 2020, which underwent extensive restoration after the purchase.  Their goal is to build a proper theater at their new location, complete with an orchestra pit and dressing rooms.
